Education and Experience

- Previous experience in using CAD to generate electrical schematics.
- Knowledge of digital and analog circuits.
- Ability to work in a cross-team environment.
- Willingness to learn and implement new technologies

Experience that can be a PLUS.

- Experience with Cadence OrCad software.
- Experience with AutoCad.
- BSEE is preferred but can be waived in place of experience.

- Create schematics and layout circuit boards.
- Create documentation including P-Diagrams, DFMEA, Specifications
- Troubleshoot and test prototypes.
- Interface with Contract Manufacturer.
- Specify components.
- Shortages, discrepancies, and damaged products are reported to vendors using RTE’s process, and corrective actions must be taken.
- Write production instructions.
- Conduct failure analysis.

Our company’s products are used in ports and terminals worldwide. They provide shippers with crucial information about the condition of their perishable cargo. Our main product line comprises networked and wireless remote monitoring equipment designed for seagoing refrigerated containers called reefers. Our team works on developing software and designing equipment that captures temperature, humidity, and other essential data to maintain the quality of perishable cargo while aboard vessels and in ports.

Our company has a long history of innovation. In 1985, we were the first to provide remote reefer monitoring for the shipping industry.
