Adaptive Defense 360 integrates into a single console the two Panda Security star solutions:
Panda Endpoint Protection Plus is our EPP solution (Endpoint Protection Platform), and it has all the traditional protection features: antivirus, anti-malware, personal firewall, Web and mail filtering as well as device control.
Panda Adaptive Defense, our EDR solution (Endpoint Protection & Response), adds automated detection and response, continuous monitoring and real-time forensic analysis, culminating in the complete fortification and securization of the endpoint.
Thus, the new solution combines all the advantages of a traditional antivirus – preventing and blocking attacks, and remediation of infections – with the advanced protection and total traceability we get when analyzing 100% of the running applications.
The new solution offers an endpoint detection service that is able to classify each application of the organization accurately so that only what is lawful is executed. Precisely this proactivity is a key difference of Adaptive Defense 360 against a conventional antivirus.
Another advantage of being in the endpoint is that Adaptive Defense 360 detects threats in a real environment regardless of their origin, even from a USB.
