About The Fruit.
The papaya is born from a herbaceous plant, with a very spongy fleshy stem and can measure up to 9 meters in height; Its leaves are dark green, thick and up to 80 cm long. It is a soft, juicy, yellowish-green fruit, which changes to orange when ripe and has numerous black seeds.
It is mainly composed of: water, carbohydrates and papain, which is an enzyme that helps digest proteins. Papaya is widely recognized for its medical-intestinal qualities and for its great contribution of vitamin A and C to the body, as well as its healing properties.
