Galileo's thermoscope is the basis for the alcohol thermometer, known as Galileo thermometer. Then the detailed graduation scale was introduced and becomes an ampoule of thermometer.
This thermometer consists of a glass cylinder with crystal balls of different colors immersed in an inert liquid. Each ball is associated with a temperature that is recorded on a metal plate. All materials are safe.
Galileo's thermometer works according to the principle of Archimedes. If there are two bodies (or fluids) of different densities, the lowest density will tend to rise while the highest density will tend to decrease. Galileo's thermometer, made of glass, is a decorative instrument of temperature measurement. The thermometer works as follows: with temperature changes, multicolored glass balls rise and fall. Grades can be read in the lower glass ball than they have ascended.
