Buna-N Board

This 2-inch dielectric union is used in commercial and residential applications to avoid accelerated corrosion and deterioration of the pipe system due to the galvanic and parasite current. It is installed between pipes made from different metals and used in applications such as hot water storage tanks, water and air conditioners, processing tanks, steam pipes, gas and water. It consists of a threaded iron pipe connection for welding, bonding nut, two tails and a Buna-N joint that separates the tails to prevent an electric current. The maximum temperature has a rating of up to 180 degrees F (82 degrees C) to 250 psi (17.2 bar).
