A dream home inspired by the Italian Renaissance, just minutes away from one of Costa Rica's most beautiful beaches.

The Hispano-German construction company presents its latest residential project, "Villa Palladio," a new venture under the brand "European Style Homes": houses designed and executed with German quality supervision, following European style and aesthetics. "Villa Palladio" was commissioned by a group of Costa Rican investors with the vision of offering high artistic level homes at reasonable prices.

Currently under construction and scheduled for completion in September 2024, the project is located in the Bosques del Lago Residential area, near Puerto Carrillo, less than five minutes from Carrillo Beach, one of Costa Rica's top beaches. Bosques del Lago is a small community of Costa Ricans and foreigners, extremely peaceful and safe, ideal for families or vacation rentals.

The name "Villa Palladio" pays homage to the Italian architect Andrea Palladio, one of the most famous representatives of the Renaissance era. During the 16th century, Palladio designed numerous palaces and country houses in Northern Italy, in the Veneto region (the surroundings of Venice). Palladio's ingenuity was so influential that his interpretation of the structural and ornamental language of antiquity gave rise to an architectural movement called "Palladianism," which strongly influenced English and North American architecture, from Palladio's time to the present day.

The "Villa Palladio" project was conceived by the German architectural artist, Dr. Daniel Veith, with the aim of creating a house in a "tropicalized Palladian" style, inspired by the bucolic atmosphere and special peace one can feel on the property, surrounded by lush trees that provide very pleasant shade in the tropical heat. As a first impression, Dr. Veith recalls the memory of an Italian Renaissance park, so he immediately thought of one of Palladio's many estates between the Italian cities of Verona, Vicenza, and Treviso.

Although Palladianism spread widely in Anglo-Saxon countries, there are almost no examples of it in Latin America, making the "Villa Palladio" in Carrillo the first residential work in this style in all of Costa Rica.

"Villa Palladio" stands out for its imposing facade of almost 7 meters in height, visible from the street, with huge windows throughout the ground floor, interpreting the most prominent architectural motif of Palladianism: sliding doors with three panels, with the center part higher. The use of steel elements in this front facade adds a modern-contemporary touch to the classic lines of the house.

Inside, with 112 square meters, "Villa Palladio" features a spacious double-height living area, divided into a living room, dining room, and kitchen with island and breakfast bar, as well as an adjacent laundry room. With direct access to this central area, there are three bedrooms and two bathrooms, one of them exclusively for the master suite, which also has two walk-in closets. The rooms accommodate 6 people, and if the queen bed in one of the secondary bedrooms is replaced with a double bunk bed, even 8 people could sleep in this vacation mansion.

In front of the house stretches a terrace from side to side and, on a lower level, a 15-square-meter pool, with a decorative ceramic-clad wall that evokes the images of a decorative pond in one of the renowned Renaissance parks like Villa d'Este in Tivoli or Giardino di Boboli in Florence.

The project includes, in a separate building, a covered garage with storage room, of almost 30 square meters, which also houses the pool machinery room. Drinking water and electricity pipes have already been installed, as well as provisions for sink, toilet, and shower, so this structure could be expanded and easily converted into an independent apartment, ideal for rental.

Hispanoalemana is a construction company of German and Spanish capital belonging to the VEITH Group business group, headquartered in Madrid, Spain, founded by Drs. Evelyn and Daniel Veith, currently with representations in San José and Guanacaste, where the central offices and a showroom called "Plaza Hispanoalemana" are under construction, near Cuesta Grande, on the Nicoya road to Sámara/Nosara. Hispanoalemana offers all development and construction services, from the elaboration of construction plans, through construction itself, to the manufacturing of custom-made furniture.
