The excellent high-resolution performance offers an unprecedented photographic experience
With the aim of producing an excellent image quality lens in line with a new fast opening zoom lens, TAMRON redesigned the optical design in the new 28-75 mm F2.8 G2 from scratch. The optical construction of the A063 model displays 17 elements in 15 groups. To minimize optical aberrations to an extreme degree, two LD (low dispersion) and GM (moulded aspheric glass) elements are used in an optimal arrangement. The objective demonstrates a high resolution power on the edges of the frame in all focal distances, while also offers the soft and beautiful bokeh that is distinctive of the quick opening s lens. The image quality shows marked improvements with respect to the first generation A036 model. The 28-75 mm F2.8 G2 retains the same light weight and compact size while achieving significant improvements in resolution and overall performance across the zoom range. The new standard zoom is ideal for a wide range of photographic genres, from street photography and portraits to landscapes and family events in general, such as holidays and holidays.
Capture all action with high speed and high precision AF
The AF drive system is equipped with a VXD linear motor approach mechanism. VXD has an exceptional response and works at high speed with high precision. The AF speed marks approximately double[1] faster than the first-generation A036 model. With a fast and reliable approach from MOD to infinity and an extremely good approach tracking, it is ready for those important moments even when photographing fast moving subjects. In addition, the AF drive motor is very silent, which makes it ideal for fixed photography and videography when takings are made in conditions where it is required almost silence.
Reach a 0.18 m MOD (7.1 inches) and a maximum magnifying ratio of 1:2.7
The approach has also been improved closely. The 28-75 mm F2.8 G2 MOD is 0.18 m (7.1 inches) at the wide end of 28 mm, an improvement over the first generation A036 model.
