A superb optical performance and a great handling and use comfort raise the most popular focal distance slat. The 35mm F1.4 of the Art range reborns for mirrorless cameras, and makes it reinforced with the latest SIGMA technology.
The 35mm F1.4 DG HSM Art was the first GLOBAL VISION target of SIGMA. Launched in 2012, it established the standard for the following models of the Art line, and thanks to its exceptional image quality it remains the target of 35 millimeters preferred by many professional photographers. Nine years later, the 35mm F1.4 has been redesigned from zero specifically for mirrorless cameras. It is the culmination of much of the experience in optical design and advanced production techniques acquired in the last decade of objective development GLOBAL VISION. As with all the objectives of SIGMA, the 35mm F1.4 DN DG Art is produced entirely at the Aizú factory in Japan, where the standard of artisanal production is of the highest level.
As with all SIGMA objectives, the leading optics in their class are right at the heart of the concept of this new 35mm F1.4 DN DG Art. Despite being significantly smaller and lighter than its predecessor, it shows an excellent level of sharpness to the edges of the frame in all openings, as well as an exceptionally soft and attractive bokeh and a significantly controlled optical aberrations.
Sealing against dust and splashing
This objective has a powder-proof construction and splashes, as well as a coating on the surface of the front lens that repels water and fat, allowing you to shoot in many environments.
