The Z 7II is based on the professional image capabilities of the mirrorless Z platform with more image quality, more dynamic range, more speed, more workflow improvements... more than anything you want in an ultra high performance camera.

Dual processors.
For the first time in a Nikon camera, the Z 7II works not with one, but with two EXPEED processing engines 6. They work together to process images faster, more buffer capacity and more overall speed.

Slots for double cards.
Now you have options. A slot accepts CF Express (Type B) and XQD cards. The other slot accepts standard SD cards. Use the format you prefer. Or use both separate RAW and JPEG slots and files, create a backup or maximize your integrated storage.

Sensor of 45.7 MP.
The Z 7II uses the CMOS sensor illuminated at the rear of Nikon's highest resolution without low-pass optical filter. When combined with NIKKOR Z lenses, the result is amazing: some of the most clean and rich RAW and JPG images in imaginative details.

Bright dynamic range.
From deep blacks to bright whites and the science of Nikon's upper color, the Z 7II displays a dynamic outstanding range in fixed images and videos, from ISO 64 to 25 600.

More automatic focus power.
The Z 7II is based on Nikon's 493-point hybrid AF system with low-light performance improvements, new options for AF with eye detection and easier selection of AF modes.

See in the dark.
With a great advance in the performance of the automatic approach with little light, the Z 7II can find an object with half the available light that its predecessor*. Keep shooting up at night with the same fast and accurate AF performance.

Coverage from edge to edge.
The 90% frame coverage of the AF system allows you to compose the way you want, from the beginning. Manually choose one of the 493 focus points in the frame or let the object tracking automatically select the focus points based on the location of the object within the frame, even at the farthest edges.

Eye detection. Better than ever.
Nikon's intelligent AF eye detection quickly identifies and fixes eyes, whether humans, dogs or cats, to get well-focused portraits. Z 7II is based on the system with precision improvements and more flexibility.

Right on the target.
You can now use the wide area mode (L) to set limits for eye detection. Select an area of the frame and the Z 7II will only look for eyes there, ideal for busy scenes, group shots and pet portraits.

All of these AF eye detection features are also available during video recording. Easily follow moving objects and keep images with a sharp and professional look in the eyes.
