The EOS C70 introduces RF mounting technology into the EOS Cinema system and features Canon's DGO 4K Super 35mm sensor avant-garde. With 12-bit RAW recording, 4K slow motion at 120p, high dynamic range and Eye AF in a compact body, take the RF system to a new era.

Innovative automatic focus technology

The EOS C70 features the Dual Pixel CMOS AF (DPAF). Filmmakers can now enjoy a precise and reliable automatic approach with subject tracking and face and eye detection. Thanks to Canon's Dual Pixel CMOS AF technology, each pixel of the sensor can be used both to make photos and for the automatic approach, which means that the AF focuses and follows the subjects (also in their eyes) with a clear and impeccable approach, even if there is a reduced field depth.

Cinema RAW light

The EOS C70 features 12-bit RAW recording with Cinema RAW Light up to 645 Mbps, which allows you to make the most of the incredible capacity of your DGO Super 35 mm sensor. There are three options available for Cinema RAW Light: LT (light), ST (standard) and HQ (high quality), as well as options for Super 35 mm and Super 16 mm formats. In addition to the current 10-bit HEVC and XF-AVC 4:2:2 recording formats, the EOS C70 offers even more versatile workflows for your production needs.

DGO 4K Super 35 mm sensor for exceptional image quality

Equipped with a 4K Super 35 mm sensor and a DIGIC DV7 image processor, the EOS C70 offers a high resolution image with more than 16 dynamic range steps.

Several recording formats.

Both UHS-II SD card slots allow simultaneous or uninterrupted recordings in different formats. XF-AVC supports ALL-I and Long-GOP, while MP4 recording offers greater flexibility.

The RF targets offer exceptional quality and speed with optimized performance for the EOS C70 and the EOS R series cameras. A super-fast approach and extraordinary optical quality, coupled with a series of unique functions such as a target control ring, offer additional control of the settings.
